Cosmetic treatments

Even though every treatment might fulfil cosmetic aims, here we would like to highlight those treatments, which are confined to the front - visible teeth.

There are many cases, when the patient only wants to deal with the correction of their front teeth. The responsibility of the dentist is to decide whether the treatment is sufficient to achieve this goal. Namely, there are cases, when the function of the fitting and bite of the two dentures does not need any intervention, so in principle It is possible to make a limited cosmetic treatment. The other important factor, which needs to be examined by the orthodontist, is whether the required teeth movement can be achieved in a way, which does not affect the other teeth beyond the incisors. Specifically it would not change the lower teeth, which are responsible for a pacific function. The obstruction of the incisors, the bites of the upper and lower denture are the two factors, which are examined in such cases.

In many cases it is possible to make only a cosmetic correction of the front teeth. In most of these cases we solve the problem with some invisible appliances, at the same time it is possible that a visible fixes appliance is more appropriate.

If this kind of treatment is feasible, the length of the treatment is 6-12 months.
