Diagnosis

The basic of any orthodontic treatment is the treatment plan. For any single treatment we provide an individual treatment plan. To prepare a treatment plan a thorough medical examination is required. These processes consist of different x-rays, dental impressions, and photographs. Facial features, smile and teeth are analyzed on the basis of aesthetics.

X-rays are taken in laboratories; all the other examinations are done in our practice.

Our mission is that the patient should get all the information so they can make a thorough decision. At the same time we consider it important to investigate the aesthetic parameters and their expected changed throughout the treatment and share this information with the patient during the treatment planning.

During the treatment planning we intend to offer treatment alternatives, so the patient has a possibility to choose the best and most reasonable treatment option to they needs. This could include different treatment objectives and treatment modalities but also different appliances/braces as well.

In most of the adult cases and sometimes in children treatment we schedule a separate appointment for the treatment planning. In some adult cases and in most of the treatments of youngsters we can fix the plan at the first consultation

After this process, the patient receives a very clear and understandable treatment plan to take home and contemplate on the treatment they require.
